SERVING OUR SENIORS

This is a great opportunity to make a difference in someone's life by serving as a Senior Helper. Our senior companion and home help service provides compassionate and reliable assistance for our beautiful seniors in the comfort of their own homes.

BUILDING INTERGENERATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS

Teenagers and young adults along with more mature adults are encouraged to participate in building intergenerational relationships with seniors, helping combat senior loneliness while encouraging the younger generations.

Meal Prep

DOMESTIC

Meal Planning:

Planning meals, cooking, delivering, and serving meals.

Meal Clean-up:

Wash, dry, and put away; dishes, pots, pans, and utensils.

Housekeeping

DOMESTIC

Household chores such as-- based on needs-- cleaning counter tops, floors, beds, tables, toilet(s), bathtub(s), shower(s); doing laundry, and taking out the trash to help maintain a clean home.

Companion

FELLOWSHIP

"Therefore encourage (admonish, exhort) one another and edify (strengthen and build up) one another, just as you are doing."

1 Thessalonians 5:11

Fellowship one with another. Be a listener. Enjoy reading scripture and praying together. Some seniors may also enjoy spending time outdoors perhaps in their gardens, or taking a walk. Others may simply want to sit and enjoy your presence.

Grocery Shopping

DOMESTIC

Assist in making a grocery list. Shop for groceries, return with groceries, unload groceries and store them away immediately.

Laundry

DOMESTIC

Wash clothes and household linens; dry, fold, and put them away.

Licensed Professional Hair Cutting

GROOMING

Licensed Cosmetologists check with your state licensing agency prior to offering services. You may be able to offer safe, complimentary services such as hair cut/trim to our senior men and women in their homes.
